On August 6, 2009 a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the director of the Centre for HIV/AIDS/STI (CHAS), Dr Chansy Phimphachanh, and the director of the Centre Christophe Mérieux of Lao PDR, Dr Ot Manolin, regarding HIV viral loads analysis.
