We are a public health institution affiliated to the Ministry of Health of Lao P.D.R, dedicated to achieving significant improvements in health by encouraging research and training initiatives in infectious diseases
We carry out specialized biology analyses such as viral loads in line with nationwide programs to combat against infectious diseases. We also develop molecular resistance tests for tuberculosis to better tailor patient treatment
We develop scientific research programs on infectious diseases in Lao P.D.R in partnership with different scientific and medical institutions.
We are deeply involved in the training of health professionals thanks to strong partnerships between public hospital laboratories and the University of Health Sciences
We develop diagnostic tools for infectious diseases thanks to our outstanding Lao researchers and we contribute to increase knowledge on those diseases. We promote high quality training by implementing advanced conferences in our facilities that gather health professionals. We focus our actions on routine analysis such as viral load testing and on applied research on three keys areas: HIV and hepatitis, tuberculosis and respiratory infectious diseases
